Sea Roots is a small farm, by the ocean, located in Mosteiros, São Miguel Island, Azores.
Mosteiros is one of the most beautiful places on the island, with its black sand beaches, crystal-clear natural pools, and fantastic sunsets that can only be seen on the western side of the island. It's a prime spot for sports like fishing, diving, snorkeling, and surfing, as well as tourist activities like whale and bird watching, and hiking.
At Sea Roots, we offer 3 independent accommodation units and engage in small-scale agricultural activities, with several organic gardens, a greenhouse, and an apiary, along with other animals like chickens and guinea pigs, all free-range. Our family lives on the property, with the goal of living close to nature, minimizing our environmental impact as much as possible through producing part of the energy we consume and integrated management of the waste we produce.

Ocean and Sunset
Sea Zone is an oceanfront accommodation, located at the front of the property. It has two bedrooms, a kitchen, living room and bathroom and also a terrace.
It suits up to 4 people and has ocean and sunset views from several rooms, as well as private parking for one car. Just steps away from the natural rock pools. Experience the ocean at your doorstep.
Garden Zone 1 is an accommodation set in a garden area of the property. It has a bedroom, kitchen/living room, bathroom, private garden, and barbecue.The wood burner in the bedroom gives it an extra cosy feel, especially in the cooler months. It also has private parking for one car.
It faces a private garden and the proximity to the ocean allows you to hear the sound of the waves from the bedroom, providing a serene and peaceful environment.Ocean access is only a few steps away. It has a maximum capacity of 2 people.
