Permanent Guests at Sea Roots

Sea Roots is the home of our extended family, which includes our animals. A Pinky, a nossa adorada cadela, que encontrámos abandonada, é uma excelente concierge, sendo quase sempre a primeira a conhecer e a dar as boas vindas aos nossos hóspedes.

Igor is a pigeon that arrived here one day, in 2023, and never left. He seats on the windowsills most of the time, you may see him around, more likely walking than flying, it’s just his preference.

Gingy, also a street adoption, is a sweet ginger cat, now Pinky’s inseparable playmate, and a purring master.

The guinea-pigs, are tireless workers in managing the organic waste we produce. They love grass and all fruit and vegetable scraps. Our chickens also manage waste, in their case, they prefer cooked food, so leftovers are consumed as well as some leafy greens, contributing for zero waste.
